I like the blending of the bg elements when it goes to the middle panel.
It's a nice logo but my only gripe is that the whole "three sections" thing you got going on seems kinda... random? Although I have no clue how well it'll look on the site (could look perfect for all I know), but that's just my first impression of it.
Hehe, isn't it just the bees knees? I'm still feeling proud of myself for whipping it up.
I wanted a logo that fits me. I got this idea of the first section being Amaroq's blue and red color theme, the second section all glowy to represent his magic, and the third section to represent my nerdy love of technology. By the time I was done, I had a catchphrase to match it that would work for web design as well: "Simplicity. Creativity. Technology." One word for each section. These three words reflect my approach to making web pages because I like to keep my code efficient and elegant (Simplicity), I like to use out of the box ideas if they work better than standard ones (Creativity), and I'm a friggin' nerd who knows XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP and knows how to put them all together nicely. (Technology)
So, there was a method to my madness. xD

With my awsome plasma screen, I shall see the horrible attempt at making glowy letterz. I'ma go copy and paste the AR in my paint program and see if I can do better. lulz!!
I don't know what to say. I don't want to be too critical. The logo itself looks good but I think I would look better without the background. or maybe if the whole thing (including the background) were surrounded by a border. Other then that I would say it looks alright.
Got some unscannable artwork? Own a camera but no scanner? Here's a guide of things to consider in order to effectively take quality photographs of your work. [A tutorial by `fox-orian]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I'm just talking from pure aesthetics, I guess. But it's your logo and seems to fit, so keep it if you want. XD

Hybrid fox, on da loose...
The background around it is supposed to be glowy. You can see some waves of gold intermingled into the background if you look hard.
