[lol, the entire mario battle is supposed to be making fun of Dragon Ball Z]
Xaber dashes off in the direction of Amaroqs house. Amaroq frowns as the snow slides off his face. He watches the others run off towards his house as he grins, letting his arms fall to his sides for a second and then raising them slightly. A mound of snow rises in front of him and, with a forward gesture, flies off towards Xaber. A plothole opens and out climbs Mario.
Mario: Now-a where is-a that-a castle?
He turns and sees the on coming mound of snow.
Mario: That is-a lot-a snow!
As Xaber runs by, Mario is hit by the pile of snow, knocking him to the ground and stunning him.
Amaroq's eyes widen as he sees someone dressed in red suddenly appear and get buried under his mound of snow. He runs over and waves some of the snow away. As it slides off of the unfortunate plumber's face, Amaroq gasps.
Amaroq: Is that who I think it is?
As Xaber approaches the lone building he realizes it is like a shrine to wolves. The mailbox was a large wolf with the mail resting in it's mouth, the snow dusted shrubbery in the yard was hewn into wolf shapes, the fence had wolf carvings etched into it, and the house itself had intricate patterns of wolves engraved into it all over the place. Even the knocker on the door was a wolf's head holding the top of the knocker in its mouth.
Xaber: I wonder whats taking him
Estefan: Huffing I dont know
Maybe we should go search for him.
Xaber: No, we might get lost.
Mario stands up and brushes the snow off of himself, sounds of frustration sounding from his mouth.
Mario: How dare-a you cover-a me-a in-a snow?
With that, Mario flicked his hand forward, sending a fireball out of the white glove straight at Amaroq.
Amaroq quickly leaps out of the way, but not quickly enough as the fireball singes the side of his shirt off.
Amaroq: So, you're into magic too eh?
Mario: Oh no, I just-a ate a buttload-a fire-a flowers this-a morning.
Mario unleashes another fireball, which is quickly countered by Amaroq with a fireball of his own, a much bigger one that plows through Marios and goes straight towards him. Mario then counters that with a steady stream of fire from his hand, as Amaroq follows suit. Amaroq and Mario are now standing there, eyes locked as a stream of fire from each of them meets in the center, the two flames constantly pushing at each other for dominance as the two struggled to push the fire back towards the other.
Estefan: I sense a grave disturbance in the force.
Xaber: Maybe we should-
Estefan grabs Xaber and throws him into a portal, before stepping through himself. As Xaber stands back up, he realizes that Amaroq and Mario are engaged in a flame war.
Amaroq grunts, pressing his arms forward a little. His flame pushes Mario's back a little, before Mario grunts in return and pushes it right back to the center. The snow in the center is nearly melted down to the ground by now, and Xaber and Estefan burrow down into the snow and watch the battle from a distance.
Xaber: What's going on? What are Amaroq and Mario doing?
Estefan: They're engaged in a heated battle.
Xaber: Don't you think we should be helping?
Estefan: No! We'd only be getting in Mario's way.
Xaber: Don't you mean Amaroq's?
Estefan: Oh yeah... *ahem* Amaroq's way.
Xaber slumps down, a depressed look on his face.
Xaber: But... there's gotta be something we can do. I can't stand just sitting here watching like this!
Estefan: I know Xaber. But these two are on a much higher level. If we interfered, we'd only be getting in Amaroq's way by interfereing and getting in his way. The most we can do is hope for the best, and not interfere and get in Amaroq's way, since they're on a higher level than us.
Meanwhile, the battle between Mario and Amaroq becomes more heated. Suddenly, both yell out, eyes narrowing as the flames become much thicker, the melted snow evaporating from the grass and the grass singing down into ashes.
Mario: You have-a no-a chance against a-me, Amaroq. I am-a more-a powerful thana you, and I-a have energy from-a all those-a fire flowers I-a ate this-a morning! I will-a kill you, and the world-a will fall-a to-a me-a!
Amaroq: The odds may be against me, and I may not stand a chance, and I may lose miserably if I falter in the slightest or if those guys over there get in my way, and the world will be doomed if I lose. But I will not lose this fight! I am fighting for everything that is good and right and for the safety of the world. And because of that, I will not fail! Oh, and the planet wants me to win, and I can borrow it's energy if I ask real nicely. Nyah Nyah!
Xaber: He's not fighting at his best. Why isn't he fighting with everything he has?
Estefan: He's conserving his energy Xaber. Mario is too. If Amaroq wastes his energy too soon, Mario will continue to conserve his and he'll have an advantage when Amaroq runs low. Amaroq is waiting for Mario to make a more powerful move, then he'll make one as well.
Xaber: Oh god, I can't stand to watch! This watching is unbearable! I feel so helpless, and I want to fight, even if I die!
Estefan: We'd only be getting in their way if we intervened!
Mario narrows his eyes, a golden aura can be seen around him.
Mario: You-a are-a very a-powerful opponent-a. I-a have not-a had this-a much of-a challenge a-for a long-a time. But I will-a end-a this a-now-a! TOMATO-MEHAAA!!
Mario's golden aura grows in size, and his stream of fire expands to the thickness bigger around than his whole body. Amaroq immediately gets an aura too. A blue one. Yeah, blue's good...
Amaroq: When this is over, we'll have to train to become stronger and fight again sometime. BOOM-SHACKALACKA-BOOM-HAAAAA!!
Amaroq's blue aura shifts from blue to red, and back to blue, and then to teal and then to slate gray before going to lime green. It shimmers a little for good measure, and inverts colors a few times before going to lime green again. Amaroq's stream of fire grows to match Mario's, and the two flames push eachother back even between Mario and Amaroq again.
Estefan: Oh wow! They're at such a high level! Can you feel the energy they're giving off? It's so high! And powerful!
Xaber: Isn't this battle getting kind of rediculous?
[Some more stuff happens outside the battle. And then...]
Amaroq grunted, his energy reserves beginning to run low. He couldn't keep this up for much longer. But he grinned, as he realised he wouldn't have to.
Amaroq: Mario, Look! There's a more powerful, more evil villain who's gonna take over the planet instead. We're going to have to put aside our rivalry and fight alongside each other against this new foe.
Mario turns around and looks up into the sky, him and Amaroq stopping their streams of fire at the same time.
Mario: Where!? I-a don't-a see him!
Amaroq gathers the last bits of his energy, grinning and giggling to himself as he swings his hands down, and a huge, invisible force slams down from above, shoving Mario into the ground. Mario promptly faints with only his head visible.
